The best thing to happen since electric prune juice

My friend who's an Avs fan recently decided not only to start tweeting, but he also launched a blog about Team Norway! His spelling might be spotty, but it's good stuff. (For the record he is also a damn good rythm guitarist/singer/songwriter). Read his blog at Cake @ the Devil and follow him on Twitter at @ABern55

EDIT: Oh, and BTW, his debut post has several digs at Cindy in it

  1. I JUST now read this and realized he's an Avs fan. How do you guys get along? :) (For the record, my brother sides with the Avs, too. It must be a law of nature in order to keep things balanced. For every Wings fan, there is an equal but opposite Avs fan.)

  2. We get along by being able to talk civilized about our teams. We both want both teams to be strong, so we can have clashes like in the 90s (though we also take pleasure in the other teams failure). And even though we take digs about the other team we still can discuss them.

  3. I understand entirely; I have friends who are Pens' fans, which is completely beyond my comprehension. I really just asked how you got along to be funny. As they say, variety is the spice of life, right?

  4. Yup, I guess so. Even the best of people has to have some sort of retardation, right?

  5. I like your idea of cosmic hockey balance between Wings and Avs fans. It explains why I can be friends with the Avs fan at work- I still am not quite sure how he ended up in Detroit though... stranger than that? The ridiculously high number of times I've seen people in Tampa Bay gear lately.
