These are brilliant, perfect, wonderful, and epic. I waited all day to get home so I could watch them and they totally lived up to the hype.
ReplyDeleteAndy, you've outdone yourself. You know I'm usually full of words, but tonight, I have none for the awesome totally EPIC WIN of these parodies. I can't decide which is my favorite. Probably Helm as God because I wasn't expecting it at the end. I should've known better. Hats off to you, my Norwegian friend. You deserve a giant tin-foil hat and any amount of baked goods that I can pretend to send your way.

ReplyDeleteI started with the Pasha one and made my way down the page. After the second one, I instantly thought about making a Roy Statue of Liberty one (you know, if I was technologically savvy enough), with the tag at the end being "What if Patrick Roy wasn't a total douchebag?". I scrolled down a little further, and was pretty pleased to see that Roy one had been made. However, I was NOT prepared to see, almost exactly word for word, the same tagline that I had imagined before ever seeing the clip. I guess I just gave Roy too much credit for not being pretentious. That's my mistake, fellas. Won't happen again.

every time I see the statue of liberty goal I laugh, and that just made it better. It should replace the stupid "super mario" as a real commercial.
